Id have no problem the idea of enjoying a plastic boat with the MKII attached. Just gotta be sure of your fittings and there durability. Not to say that plastic - linear ployethelene - isnt strong - its wildly strong. Id just be carefull of the custom fittings. You sound like you know what your are doing tho - hey if you beat me out onto the water* - you gotta show me pics OK?
