I used a variable speed drill with a 6" sanding pad on it, about 60 grit for roughing out the seat, then Dragon skin for final 'sanding'. The drill allows me to reverse the rotation when needed too. BTW, that stuff creates a lot of dust that sticks to your shoes and can be tracked all over a beige carpet.. (Don't ask)
