Re: Greenland paddles
Posted by Tim on May 24, 2006
After only a month of being on the water this season I am sold on the Greenland paddle. Everything I have heard about them has been true to my experience. I found it took a few minutes to get used to the technique - angle of paddle, slicing into the stroke, etc. But now I don't anticipate going back to the conventional paddle anytime soon. Other seasons I have found that I have often put pressure on a nerve so that one leg goes numb after a while in the boat. So far this year I have had no problems. Could it be the paddle and different technique? Who knows? But my leg is much happier.
