Sassafras 16

Well, I think I may be ready to start my Sassafras 16 this summer (once the house is finished). I'll be building it from scratch using The Canoe Book. I'll probably start gathering up materials in the next month or so, so is there anything I need to know that isn't clear in the book? I noticed that there are errata sheets for the 12 and 14, but none for the 16. Can I assume that the plans are good?
