Zap-a-Gap

Has anyone used this as a spot welder of sorts with any success? I used it to hold together all my parts before butt jointing nad glassing each side, seemed to work okay, but I still treated parts with kid gloves. Not sure of the bond strength was with just a few drops along the seam. I thought about using after stitching together and after aligning all pieces, then being able to remove all wire before filleting, any thoughts/experiences with this. Thanks.
