wood and varnish
Posted by Jim Stalnaker on Apr 25, 2006
Hi,
Two queries: First, can anyone give some advice on wood to use for making a stripper. I know that red and white cedar is the standard, but what about white pine? And, is it necessary to cut strips to full length, or can they be joined?
Second, varnish methods, I read sometime back about using penotrol(?) to thin varnish and make it flow evenly. Can someone with experience please repeat the methods for doing this. Thanks!
