I am in the finishing stages of a SH 16...are you sure there are no shearclamps...I seem to remember 'clamping the shearclamps with plenty of clamps and then feasting on clams' ...pretty sure they are there ... are you doing the hybrid deck? Maybe they are not in the standard deck version. That must be it...Anyway, Lee has a good suggestion as always... leave the nails out if you can.
