Painting/epoxy hull

About ready to finish my hull on a Chesapeake 16, and saw some interesting info on the West System Epoxy website. copper/epoxy mixture over the glass as a finished surface, along the lines of a graphite bottom. Anyone done this (copper or aluminum)? Any thoughts on this subject?

just wondering while the epoxy /glass first coat dries.
