Is it possible to....

OK, last time I epoxied the glass on a kayak it was my WR180 and what a bother to get rid of all those streaks. I wetted out the glass on one ama and am ready to do the final "fill coats" to smooth out the weave. I was successful in avoiding runs in the wetting out. Is it possible to avoid this in the "non-absorbent" fill coats?

PS:Its been over 24 hours...I need to sand the epoxy/glass before I apply my second coat?
