just cut the wire leaving plenty to grip with needle nose pliers. Heat the other end and pull as you are heating. In a second or two it'll just slide out, and when the eopxy cools it rehardens, with no lose of strength.

Same thing applies when you need to remove a screw that's epoxied in- just heat the head with a soldering iron and back it out.
