I put the minimum (it think 3 coats) on my MC last year. Quickly wet sanded each coat...It looks marvelous and it really did not take too long. Actually it looked fine after two coats but somewhere I heard minimum three for uv protection. I planned on going back and putting more coats down and maybe I will while I am completing my new boat...or maybe wait till next year...
