Re: Shop Vac Filters?

Ditto. Big reduction in sanding dust when connected to the shop vac. Most ROBs have a little plastic device that pokes half a dozen holes or so through the sand paper, allowing the vacuum to pull the dust up and out -- be sure to use it. I don't have any special filter on the shop vac (probably should), but I did buy an extra length of hose so the vac actually sits outside the shop. Between the noise from the vac and the sander, ear protection is still a must (along with the respirator, of course).
