Interesting comment about the speed/ease of CAD compared to hand drawing. The designer of our cruising sailboat, WIB "Bill" Crealock, drew all his designs free hand. I once watched him make some quick and dirty notional sketches and it was very impressive what he could do without so much as a ruler. I used the past tense here but in fact he's still doing it. Probably drives the builders nuts.... - John Pollard
