I have been pondering the same question a bit. I of course put them on my Mill Creek...they are incuded in those kits, look great with that style boat and I have to admit they helped a great deal wth cleaning up the deck hull joint.

Now I am working on the shearwater hybrid and thinking...are they appropriate...if given a nice long bevel on the ends...and what wood might look good? Any ideas on this?
