Re: thinning varnish?

Penetrol does work really well to help varnish "flow" without thinning it. My general rule of thumb is about 10% thinner by volume. My formula for varnishing is 1.5 oz of thinner and 2 oz of penetrol per quart. Use a foam roller and tip it with a foam brush and people will swear it was sprayed.-Joey
