shearwater glass schedul?

The instructions for glassing the shearwater hull tell me to put on three layers of glass at the ends, two layers on the bottom and one layer over the entire hull. My question is...do I apply the various layers in separate sessions, waiting for the previous layers to cure? or...do I smooth the layers on and add the epoxy to them all at once??? this seems like it might get messy. Or do I wet out the first layer and the try to apply the others before the epoxy cures...sounds like this might get messy too? Are the pieces of glass cloath allready cut in the kit? The manual does not say specifically how to deal with the multiple layers.
