Re: Spraying Varnish

Cute comments on my skills as a typist aside, I'm pretty aware of both the hazards and requirements for constructing a spray booth. If I were to build one for the shop it would likely be a scaled down version of ones I've used at work painting aircraft before... with filtered airflow both in and out of the booth. I have a filtered air supply pump for a full mask, and a long enough supply hose to keep the intake outside of the danger area. However, my followup question to the original post was not about the safety issues surrounding sprayed varnish... it was about whether, all things else aside, there was an appreciable difference in the finished product. Anyone who has experience with spray-applied varnish, I'd love to hear your results.
