Chris,

If you're using the talc to lighten the colour of the goop, save some money and mix in wheat flour.

I think fillets are strongest with wood flour, and I personally wouldn't substitute 100% talc or white flour.

I've also been told that mixing in cabosil will help make the mixture more easily smoothed in visible areas like the cockpit.

Just my Cdn. 2 cents. I'm about to start fillets too, so would like to hear from the experts as well.
