To help strengthen your lower back, lie on your stomach with your arms extended iver your head. Lift your left arm and right leg a couple of inches off the ground, hold it for ten seconds, relax for a second or two, then do the right arm and left leg. Start with ten repetitions and build it up. Be careful not to over do it. The back has very small veins for the muscle mass so take a can of overworking these muscles.
