Graphite/Cabosil Hull?

I have read many posts that a Graphite/Cabosil hull is the next best thing to Brass skids so I am going to try it first. From reading I understand the ratio/mix but can someone tell me when I start the 2-3 coats of this coating? I just put on my fiberglass cloth and the weave is now prominent. Do I start now or wait until after I fill the weave with epoxy? I also hear not to Varnish over the Graphite but a coat of epoxy will shine it up. Thanks, Darryl
