Newbie question

Am I nuts or just being anal. Because of the scarfs I can't seem to be able to arrange the hull sections so that the "good" sides of the plywood are all outboard. Since its a Shearwater 17 standard, there are 10 scrafs. I just picked it up Saturday and have only arranged the hull parts on an 18ft. bench.
