I agree with Jim and Darryl. I also used a long sanding block to keep the ply exposure straight. You may see a few slight wobbles if you sight down the hull but after I applied the cloth and the epoxy last week it looks great. Almost like an inlay line that fades out nicely as it reaches the bow and stern.
