nomenclature and typos
Posted by LeeG on Jan 4, 2006
Folks unfamiliar with kayaks presented with typos that confused hip braces for thigh braces would mount the hip braces forward so the wood hip plate would contact their thighs. If it's a "thigh brace" it must hit the thighs? It's ok to call a kneebrace a thigh brace or vice versa but confusing a hip brace with a knee/thigh brace is like confusing a clutch pedal for a brake pedal in a car.
