Scratch Build

In the near future I will have plans for a new boat. While the plans have a complete set of lines, there are no plank expansions. The question is the best method to build this puppy in s&g. The only method that immediately comes to mind is upsidedown over forms and spile for the plank expansions. I guess then tab enough of the outside so that the boat could be turned over and do the inside seams. Then turn back over and do the outside. Any other suggestions?
