primer

Well I have finally reached the topcoats stage of my first ever CH17. I'm just about ready to apply the brightsides primer. I understand that your'er supposed to put on a coat then basiclly sand it all off, which fills all the small low spots. Are you supposed to apply another primer coat? If so does it need to be sanded again and how much with what grade of sand paper. I'm going to paint the hull then varnish the deck. Iwant to paint some detail on the deck also. Should I varnish the whole deck and then paint over that or attempt(heavy on attempt) to mask each area off?

Getting close hard to wait. I'll head home to sand epoxy now and check back on the morrow.
