Restoration

I am currentlly restoring a Chesapeake 16. I bought it last spring, it was about 7 years old. Taken care of, but used and in need of a little TLC. So, after enjoying it all summer long, I am ready to restore it to its original beauty.

In addition to some minor repair (keel/stern rub strip, hatch rework) I plan to strip the deck down to the bare wood and epoxy/fiberglass/varnish, strip/repaint the hull, and new deck rigging.

I was looking for tips, advise, and lessons learned from anyone who has been through this.
