faulty tools
Posted by RogerJ on Oct 29, 2005
OK, so my memory is not so good, but I thouht someone had used a porch and floor paint on thier 'yak'. Well not all paint is crated equal and I want to get this stuff out of the forward compartment. Acrylic latex is what it is, not the OTHER porch and floor paint which sounds simular to topside paints. I have sanded and then some more. Ya see the inside of the forward compartment was not finished as nicely as anything else on the "boat". "Kleen Strip" I think is the brand, says not for use on fiberglass. Is there any other chenistry recommended for removing acrylic latex that will not damage fiberglass. RogerJ
