I have a small basement shop where I built my 16LT last spring. I used those plastic sheets and covered the ceiling and walls to the floor. The entire room was fresh plastic coated; Created a very clean room for varnishing.

Had no problems with any dust bumps. Did very lite 400 wet sanding between coats just to scratch the previous coat (and hit the runs).

Great finish results (if I do say so myself).

Will be doing the same proceedure this winter with my next one.
