Well, James, the votes are in and it's unanimous. No way you can build a yak suitable for sleeping in.

It would be way too much of a challenge to your design modification skills, and your ability to rough it in the wild.

So have you started it yet?

I expect that next summer we will be hollering for another trip report on your latest expedition...oh, and we need a photo of that rig you lashed up to brew a pot of coffee without leaving the sleeping bag, should the morning come in a bit nippy.

Seriously, whatever you end up building, sounds like you will have fun.
