Thanks. I'll be happy as long as it floats, and paddles in a reasonably straight line. ;>

As I mentioned, all my previous 'yaks have been skin-on-frame, where everything is based on just a few measurements, and then laid out "by eyeball". If something's off a bit, it's usually a simple matter to untie a few joints and fix it. And the whole thing is held together by string. :>

Stitch'n'glue is a whole different ball of wax.
