Lee summed up the stability part pretty darn accurately. Initial stability is lower than a Chesapeake. The secondary stability felt similar to a wr18. Not scary by any means, just less than a Chesapeake. Since it is a more performance oriented design, that is to be expected. It tracks straight as an arrow, but turns easier than a Chesapeake. With a lower volume design, it should take less energy to paddle in wind and chop. It fills the space in the line between the AH and Chesapeake perfectly. If you are looking for a boat that is easy to paddle and turn, you are not going to go wrong. It is a great boat to grow with. Oh yeah, it's purty too!-Joey
