Resin pump failure
Posted by Jim Robinson on Sep 28, 2005
I just finished applyting fillet and glass to my CH14 seams. I discovered near the end of the process that the resin pump was yielding too much. Measurements in metered cups put the ratio at about 3-2, instead of 2-1. I know epoxy is sensitive to the ratio, I'll have to wait and see if it cures. If it does cure do I need to fear future problems? If it doesn't I can scrape it and start over.
