what's your experience with the swiveling tabs to determine there needs to be something better?

Webbing and fasteck buckckles require substantial finger strength to seal well. If one breaks in a rescue you're 1/2 way to seriously comprising flotation. Webbing and fasteck buckles don't work well on flat aft decks.

Hidden bungies under the deck require dexterity. Try it with gloves or bare hands in 45 degree water/wind. The hidden lever device shown looks cool,,and reduces failure safety to two bungies.

With the flip levers you can see if it's working or not. There's redundancy according to the number of levers ,,six is good.
