I know it's intimidating and all the stuff above is good but it is really not so hard. Once you start it sort of becomes obvious. Start in the middle, let gravity help you, gently squeege it towards the end. If the glass clear and you see that beautiful wood underneath you have enough. Almost anything that can go wrong can be fixed sooner or later.

I mixed in 12 oz plastic cups by squirt, stirred with a plastic knife and used some cheep auto body scrapers and when I ran out mixed the next batch. I recall it only took 30 minutes or so to do the whole hull.

Just do it! Althouth I hate that phrase. Ed
