Reflective line

So I finally found some reflective line to use as perimeter lines on all the boats. It's a 3mm line, so not very large, but the reflective strips will be nice, if we are ever on the water after dark.

does anyone else use this stuff? I was thinking of suggesting that CLC find some to add to the shop, but if I'm the only person that considers using it, there wouldn't be much point. Is this likely to be too small a diameter to be effective? I don't imagine it will be much help unless it's braided into a thicker line. I bought 100' for $12 though, so I can't complain too much.

For reference, I bought it as reflective tent line from LLBean.
