I noticed that you said temporary deck beams in your post Dennis. I seem to remember from postings on another board that it was common to add temporary deck beams attached to the hull with hot glue. The deck would then be stripped, outside glassed, and removed to glass the inside. While the deck was off, the temporary beams would be removed with a sharp rap from a hammer to break the hotglue bond. The newly glassed deck would then be reinstalled. Since the deck already has the necessary curvature (no stresses) it shouldn't need the strap method of installation, just packing tape every few inches.
