wood inlays on deck
Posted by Hank H on Aug 25, 2005
I am getting ready to assemble the deck and install. I am wanting to put some veneer inlays on the deck but am not sure whether I should put the inlays in after or before installing the deck. If I do it after I am concerned about holding them in place while they set and if I do it before I have to use an adhesive that will be pliable when dry. I thought about rubber contact cement Since if it oozes out I can remove it easily but I am not sure about residue and whether the epoxy will bond to the areas that the cement got on. If anyone has put inlays on there deck before would be appreciated. Thanx
