Actually not a modification; that's an exact rendition of the CLC SailRig MKI. (The MKII version replaced this one in 2000.) I can't tell that he's modified anything at all from the old kit. It has the 12-foot amas; the MKI had an option for 8- or 12-footers. The akas socketed into the amas, which was slick looking but required enormously fussy carpentry to keep the sockets from leaking.
