Raul, Use magnets.Thats what I did on my West River 180. Instead of making spacers on top of the deck for the hatches I cut flush with the deck and then made the spacers on the underside. I glued two magnets to each hatch and then two more magnets to the spacers on the underside of the deck. Check the plans I finaly got to post on my site.I made them up and they work great.
