My weekend project

Hey folks, just started on the latest project. This is the first shot of my daughter's new skin on frame under construction.

The gunwales are 15' long clear pine. Most of the beams are also clear pine with the exception of the footrest, backrest and the beam behind the backrest. These are slightly thicker douglas fir. I figured they would see more abuse than the other beams.

In this pic I still have to finish shaping the masik/knee brace set up. I departed ways slightly with Morris's book on this but I got the shape I was looking for. Acouple more operations and it's time to flip it over and start the keel,ribs and chines.

Then I get to build a GP for the next project.
