Re: Refinish in humid wea

Hi Tim,
We live near Philadelphia, where is can get as hot/humid as South Florida at times. When varnishing or painting in this weather, I thin the finish up to 15% with lacquer thinner to accelerate drying. Seems to work with all the non-latex paints I've used over the year (not-including 2-part paints) and seems to eliminate blushing.
I apply with a roller then tip off quickly with a wet but not dripping natural brush. Other methods may work as well or better, I'm just used to doing it this way. Good Luck!
