Oh yea, the clamps. How could I forget the clamps? I have over 40 by now and I seem to be looking for at least two more each time I do a project. They are an investment like any other tool but they are likely not laying around your shop in the quantity needed to build a kayak. So be prepared to spend some money on clamps.

These clamps will get used again and again because no one can build just one.

BYW - I was happy to have mine because they were handy to help hold the tarps on my roof after last years hurricanes.
