in my view, gloss vs a satin deck is not going to make any appreciable difference with respect to sun-glare.

its more about what kind of look you want when you are close-up.

as lee points out, most satin finishes do not have the UV protection as glosses. UV protection should be your first priority...to protect the epoxy from decomposing.

you can buff it out as lee suggested. another approach is to put a coat or two of satin finish over three to four coats of a high-quality UV protecting gloss like z-spar.
