On the Yukon River. Peak water flow varied from 3 mph to 5 mph the entire distance. Early June still has plenty of glacier flow and the unseasonable heat gave it even more boost. No sand bars strainers log jams. The river was clear, deep and fast. They had 24 hours of daylight and the air temperatures never went below 65.
