If anything the bow end of the monorail should be somewhat higher than the stern end. You should be able to establish this offset with the adjustable legs. How much? About 1/2" - 1" differential. The idea is that you would be rolling 'downhill' on the recovery with gravity and not have to pull yourself uphill.
