Kiss my glass clc

Ok, so I am feater the overlap where the deck glass meets the sides. As per. instructions I let the deck glass overlap a little...this was a bummer to trim prior to wetting out, and a bigger bummer to sand...all those threads pulling out and all, there has got to be a better way. Anyhow now I have to sand and find that thre is no way to completely avoid hitting the tops of the glass fibers here and there. I really want to avoid adding more epoxy as I am kind of on a schedual here and would like to start vanishing latter this week. Do I need to add epoxy where the sander just kisses the glass, will it make much difference in the final finish...because man I would really like to finish.
