Re: Fish this with MC-13?

I solo the MC 16.5 to fish in Colorado high mountain reservoirs and double with my wife otherwise. We're both retired and taking full advantage of that. Although the Mill Creeks are flat water craft, the waters you picture are fine as long as you watch the weather. I wear a wet suit (part or full) even though it is really hard to dump the MC (took my 200+ weight outboard of the coaming to try that out). I car top which is not demanding with the flat bottom (some areas forbid trailered craft) The most demanding exertion is carting the rig down and up steep slopes. I use a big cart and never turn down an offer of help back up. I suppose I'll rig a trailer and use a ramp when the body gives out. I've seen a number of Loons in use since they are easy to drag over rocky ground whereas our lovely craft require more care. Hope you enjoy paddling and fishing the high country as much as I do.
