Hempel paints?

The sales guy at the local shop tried to talk me into buying Hempel epoxy primer + polyurethane enamel for finishing my boat. My questions are:

1. Is this Hempel brand known between boatbuilders @ CLC forum? My understanding is that it is British brand specialized in marine paints and extremely popular in the area I live.

2. Is it useful to use this epoxy based primer with polyurethane finish? The description says: "two component polyamide adduct cured epoxy primer...hard and tough coating resistant to seawater and mineral oils"

The description on the paint says: "two component, high gloss acrylic polyurethane enamel, cured with aliphatic isocyanate".
