...don't let the hull lay wider or narrower than it should be. If it is glassed very close to its proper width then you will be able to tie the deck to it easier. You want the epoxied glass to be resting in its natural shape when the deck is attached. This keeps stresses off your sheer joint. I wasn't as careful when I glassed my last boat and had a tough time fighting the sheer panels trying to get the deck to fit.

There is no risk of botching the whole job here, I add my comments to everyone else's to help nsure you have an easy time of it.
