front flush hatch size

I am building a wr 18 and using the flush mount hatch kit.

The rear hatch is nice size.

I was thinking about making the front hatch the same size as the rear hatch. It is a lot bigger and useful. I like to carry a lounge chair on my trips. It makes me feel like a king on the long wilderness trips. Usually I carry one on deck. It would be so nice to have it below.

Do you think it is a bad idea to make the front hatch as big as the rear ? The smaller radious may make it more difficult to make a good hatch seal.
